Name: Bree Rocfort

Medium items can be a "cookie","apple" and "juicebox". Larger/important items make up components of the sandwich - "bread", "lettuce", "tomatoes", etc.

Game Alias: PBJellyfish [Knight of Blood on HIC]
Guardian: Older sister. Sassy babe with rockabiliy style who runs an antique/refurbishing shop.

History:
Bree was raised by her older sister in the uncivilized wilds known as New England. And by wilds, really, it was the suburbs. She can't really remember a time when she wasn't raised by her older sister and to be honest, it doesn't particularly matter to her that she can't remember her parents or really what happened to them to begin with.

At first things were a little tough, her older sister working incredibly hard to make ends meet, managing to raise her, working and juggling getting a bachelors degree and finally a masters in business. Bree doesn't remember it much, or rather chooses not to remember it, because they were, as she puts it "pretty bad and awful and stuff". But after her sister managed to start up a business selling and refurbishing antiques that was eventually became successful, life became pretty good.

While far from being filthy rich, there's been enough demand in Bree's sister's business that they have a decent amount of disposable income. And her sister loved to dote on her little sister, giving her the things she never got at her age. And that's where the gaming began. It started with small consoles and a computer, gradually getting to the point that Bree started to get heavily invested in MMORPGs. There was a certain fascination it held with her, the possibilities, the strategies. It was something that she had never really experienced before. And she jumped right in, memorizing cool-downs and FAQs, knowing the exact strategies to execute.

Because outside family life, Bree had always been in a weird kind of limbo. Social enough that most people didn't think too much of her eccentricities but weird enough to not be attached to any particular social circle of peers nor really invited to socialize. It was kind of lonely for her, that no matter how hard she tried to make friends, there was always something that kept most people at bay. But with games, it was a perfect world. Full of people to meet who liked her and if things went wrong, she could always restart with another character. Nothing like real life at all.

While being indulgent and figuring that Bree was happy and making friends in her make-believe world, her older sister did figure that it wouldn't be particularly well to have Bree sitting there all the time, playing on the computer. So in addition to her gaming addition, on threat of having the internet cut off and MMORPG subscriptions cancelled, she has also started playing lacrosse over the past year. Considering she found that she had an affinity with swinging sticks and flinging things with netted poles, it worked out in the end. Even if her teammates tolerate her because she's quite good and not because of any winning personality. She does enjoy it to an extent, though of course not as much as MMORPGs.

And especially not as much as her most favorite game ever, HIC.

Personality:

For the most part, Bree is a whirling dervish of impulsive manic energy and excitement in a pint-sized package. She's an airheaded and cheerful sort of cloudcuckoolander that tends to go on long sweeping tangents, talks way too much (Loves jellyfish. So she would talk your ear off especially on that topic) and who often has the point fly right over her head or doesn't pick up hints. Like some tiny garrulous yappy dog that won't shut up. She's the kind of person who thinks that Lady Gaga's first name is Lady and last name is Gaga. Also kind of gullible, especially when it comes to being on the internet, though she is capable of expressing some skepticism in real life. Also is terrified of horror related things. Like stay up all night or longer when terrified. Yet she'll still read/watch/see something with the mindset “Maybe I won't be scared this time...”. It always fails. Easy jump scare bait.

She's also super friendly, willing to talk to anyone and just thinks that everyone is her friend. And if you've talked to her more than a handful of times you're also probably a biffle to her (of course there are different levels of BFFs..). No exceptions. Even if you hate her guts. You're just a little "moody" in her book.

With the exception of games and a few other things, she does get bored incredibly fast and she's gotten into trouble more times than not in school and public spaces for wandering off or doing something completely different from what she should be doing (She is in fact banned from at least three museums, two movie theaters and five retail stores. For life.). This has done nothing for her social life or really anyone's perception of her as a 7-year old in a teenage body.

When it comes to games, particularly MMORPGs/RPGs or anything of that genre, she's kind of some sort of MMORPG/RPG idiot savant. All her mental acuity is focused purely on the game and when she's planning a raid it's almost like her personality does a 180. She becomes incredibly serious business and comes off as surprisingly focused and sharp, taking several levels in maturity and using her memorization of moves and cooldowns and anything else on FAQs to her advantage. Of course that never lasts long and as soon as a raid is over or planning is done, she flips back to her usual derptastic self.

Of course, despite her exuberance and general optimism, she does have her own shortcomings. Her perception of everyone being her friend, especially online, sometimes causes her no amount of trouble as she can get sort of clingy and whiny when she thinks she's being left alone or that someone is mad at her. She's secretly terrified of the idea of being alone and, even though she surrounds herself with friends because she just wants friends too, it's also a bit so that she's never alone. Ever. Unfortunately, even when someone pushes her away or straight out tells her they don't like her or want nothing to do with her (because she can't take a hint) and manage to not get pestered or bothered by her, she puts a positive spin to it. In fact her take is usually optimistic to a fault and when it's to the point that she can't deny the facts any longer, she sometimes makes up reasons as to why things happened the way they did to rationalize the rejection. She is incredibly good at the denial game. She's also a hardcore escapist, and it manifests as her near obsession with games. She doesn't like feeling terrible about anything or conflict really and will usually run away, either hiding in her games or physically hiding someplace. In short, negative feelings are awful and she really doesn't want anything to do with them.

Also if you tell her not to do the thing, there is a high probability (if it isn't pertaining to a raid) that she will in fact, do the thing.

Appearance: Here and Here. She's pretty short and stocky with a little fat over muscle. Her hair is a self-hair cut because why waste time going to the haircuttery (all the planning and gaming time it cuts into!) when there is a perfectly acceptable pair of scissors right by her computer. Hair grows back fast too so whatever.

CC: so then ohmigosh it was like +10 awesomeness!!! because like the raid was so awesome and then we got sweet loot! +5 treasure is the best it was like i was rolling natural 20s the whole time n_n oh also also also did i show you this really awesome jellyfish picture I found? Its soooooo soooooo cool! and i think it looks like a moon jelly but i could be wrong well its definitely not a man o war lol that would totally be -20 knowledge for me if I didn't know any better >.< but oh right you want to discuss the next raid right???

CC: so i think that is we can get two DPSers (perferably prince and witch combo because their cooldowns would work best together imo) and a sylph healer – life would be best because i think their heal rate is marginally higher than a sylph in another aspect and we should be set. as usual i'll aggro and we'll do the formation we did at the raid we did last month. you remember, right? the one where we have the delayed attack formation because of those monsters with that crazy AOE move. it'll give the healer enough time to spam some of the heals that have a quick cooldown, if they have a regen skill on them even better. we can touch base like an hour or two beforehand and refine the strategy. there's still some numbers i have to crunch for an ideal takedown. i do think that we have a change on beating the dungeon this weekend though.

CC: o also! a bird totally almost flew into my face today!! isn't that crazy? @__@ lol?

Oh my god.

OH MY GOD.

She was late. She was so so late to the raid.

Never in Bree Rocfort's life was she late to a raid. Practice had run unexpectedly long today and one thing had led to another and then...

Well, there had to be a first for everything.

Sneakers pounded the pavement as she ran down the sidewalk, lacrosse stick hanging dangerously to the side, duffle bag from practice swinging wildly, either of the items ready to hit any person who had the misfortune of being on the same stretch of sidewalk as her. While even in her most unrushed state Bree never gave any consideration for public safety, this was the run of someone who would bowl over a little old lady should they be in the way in her haste to get home.

Almost there. She turned the corner and there was a momentary screech of terror as she almost skidded into a hedge followed neatly by a surprised yelp as she nearly tripped over a errant wagon before she reached the familiar driveway and front door of her home. It looked like her sister's car wasn't in the driveway. Good. She was still at work. The less questions of how practice was and her day was, the faster she could log onto the computer.

After nearly goring the front door with the force of shoving her keys into the lock on the front door and missing, she finally managed to unlock the door and whipped it open, sweaty and wheezing a bit from combination the exertion of practice and running like the devil was after her. No time for her usual snack of crustless sandwiches or even the bathroom. Eyes on the prize. There was the occasional yelp as she sped to her room, shedding equipment and shoes and socks like breadcrumbs to the front door.

With a loud 'fumpfh' of air from her chair as she flopped into it, she brought her computer out of hibernation, prepping for entry into the game with a quick and practiced motion.

The strategist and sometimes tank was on her way.

Hopefully the rest of the crew was holding up and hopefully hadn't messed up too much.

Yet.
